1. Using GarageSaleTrails

These Terms govern your use of the GarageSaleTrails website, mobile app, Trail Market, AI Scout, and related services. By using them, you agree to these Terms and to follow applicable laws. If you do not agree, please do not use the services.

2. Accounts and your information

You are responsible for keeping your account information accurate and for safeguarding your login credentials. You are responsible for activity that occurs through your account and for providing information you are authorized to provide. Do not create accounts for another person without permission or use the service to misrepresent your identity.

3. Listings, inventory, and content

You remain responsible for the listings, photos, descriptions, inventory items, and other content you submit. You must have the right to use that content and must not post content that is false, misleading, unlawful, infringing, unsafe, hateful, abusive, or otherwise prohibited. We may remove or limit access to content that violates these Terms or creates risk for users or GarageSaleTrails.

Prohibited content includes stolen goods, regulated or illegal items, counterfeit goods, content that violates another person’s privacy or intellectual-property rights, scams, discriminatory or threatening content, and listings that are unsafe or materially misleading.

4. AI Scout

AI Scout outputs are informational estimates only. Identification, appraisal guidance, suggested values, and generated write-ups may be incomplete or inaccurate. GarageSaleTrails does not guarantee an item’s identity, condition, appraisal accuracy, market value, sale price, or buyer interest. You are responsible for reviewing all AI-generated content before using it, especially for valuables, collectibles, safety-sensitive items, or items with unclear condition.

5. Trail Market, garage sales, and local safety

Buyers and sellers are responsible for their own listings, pricing, communications, transactions, pickup arrangements, safety decisions, taxes, permits, and legal compliance. Garage sale hosts are responsible for accurate sale details and for complying with local rules. GarageSaleTrails is not a party to transactions between users and does not guarantee that items will sell, that buyers will behave in a particular way, or that sales will be found.

Use good judgment for local meetings and pickups. Consider public or otherwise appropriate meeting arrangements, follow local safety guidance, and do not share more personal information than necessary. Payments, delivery, returns, disputes, and transaction terms are arrangements between the users involved unless a feature expressly says otherwise.

6. Moderation and enforcement

We may review, remove, restrict, or report content or accounts where reasonably necessary to protect users, operate the service, comply with law, enforce these Terms, or address suspected abuse. Repeated or serious violations may result in suspension or removal of access. Please report suspected scams, unsafe content, abuse, or infringement to us rather than attempting to investigate another user yourself.

7. Intellectual property

GarageSaleTrails and its logos, designs, software, and service content are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You keep ownership of content you submit, but grant us the limited rights needed to host, display, process, improve, and operate the service in connection with that content. Do not use GarageSaleTrails branding or content in a way that suggests endorsement without permission.

8. Availability and beta features

Features may be added, changed, limited, or unavailable during launch, alpha, or beta periods. Availability may vary by location and device. We may update, suspend, or discontinue a feature where reasonably necessary to operate and improve the service.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, GarageSaleTrails is provided on an “as available” basis. We are not liable for user content, user transactions, item values, sale outcomes, third-party conduct, or losses arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot legally be limited.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date above. Continued use after an updated version takes effect means you accept the revised Terms to the extent permitted by law.
